FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1) Why have a class BBQ??

The model answer is to bond the class cohesively in this period of uptight and stressful situation, and to promote togetherness of the class regardless of what differences there is. Well, in other words, just for fun since we haven't had much outings together. =D

2) Why Wednesday?

Because it's the National Day's Eve, and we're all patriotic towards the nation, so we hold a BBQ on the day before.

Ok, it's cause a lot of people won't be able to make it on other days, and since we're already out on Wed (for sch), we can use it for relaxing and the rest of the week for self study etc!!

3) Why is the BBQ location?

It is at Parkview Mansions, Kang Sheng's place (that's me). In case you need directions, go to streetdirectory.com and search postal code 618645. How to get to my place is irrelevant, since there are buses from school, as well as the nearby MRT stations, and also since I'll be able to guide you here with a phone call (it's that easy)

4) Is a BBQ pit booked?

Good question. As of now, 8.53pm, it still isn't booked. But no worries, it won't be snatched that easily. I am going to book 2 BBQ pits, since it's free of charge. Just help me maintain the cleaniness of the place, if not the management will consume my $40 deposit.

6) What if it rains?

We'll do frequent weather checks. If it's bound to rain, BBQ will be cancelled entirely in cases of portable or open air BBQ. If BBQ area is sheltered (Sheltered as in still can cook, NOT INDOOR), we will proceed with the BBQ.

7) Can I do some self entertainment?

Don't see the reason why not.

8) Price per pax?

Tentatively, I'll be collecting $10 from each person, and I'll pay the excess back to everyone equally, or getting the extra money from you guys should we overspend. Those who can pay up please do so by tomorrow, 7th Aug, I'm broke to the verge of $11 left for next week.

9) Timing?

BBQ will commence at 6pm, but advance parties will be informed of time of arrival. Advance parties are to assist in marinating chicken as well as get the food from Sheng Siong. Others are welcomed to come to play at my house, or basketball at nearby basketball courts, or others.

10) Recommendations?

Yes, if you guys can, please bring along some potluck food, meaning chips and such. Spare clothing or a change of clothes to change into if you don't want to BBQ in school attire. Also, card games or such if you think you'll need them.

11) Do we invite teachers?

Yes, I'm going to invite some teachers, Ms Tan, Ms Chew and Ms Quek.
